Our client, a leading insurance company on the island is seeking to bring on-board a Claims Handler into their Guernsey office.

Reporting to the Claims Team Leader, you'll be joining a small team where you will be handling claims with a focus on particular business classes (motor / property / liability). This role will see you delivering outstanding customer service in the registering of new claims, reserves management, liability assessments and recovery procedures.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Handling claims quickly and effectively including evaluating, negotiating and settling claims
  • Maintaining great working relationships and providing required servicing to brokers, clients and colleagues
  • Contributing to projects and initiatives
  • Undertaking self-development and training

This role will hold particular appeal to someone with a detective mindset and an inquisitive nature, along with a client focused approach.
